How To Make Professional Presentation? Online/Offline! This is not about making PowerPoint, but what to do during an Online Meeting as a speaker (Zoom) or captivating a personal presentation in a hall-full of audience. It is about speaking in public using the latest technique. Effective speakers learn their skills. Also, learn what NOT to do! Jyotindra Zaveri: Points that the speaker needs to keep in mind. Kranti: Let us discuss one by one: What is the first mistake or what the speaker should not do in a roomful of audience. I mean personal presentation. JZ: Avoid showing your back to the audience. Always keep your laptop in FRONT of you. That way you can see what is projected to the audience. You do not need to turn your face to the screen. How can you maintain eye contact during the presentation if you have to take a turn for every slide? K: This all you mentioned is important, but now there may be a hybrid kind of meeting. In the new normal, many meetings are online. Give tips about Zoom meetings. Tell us about the Screen Share button JZ: Use the Screen Share button. Speaker need not be a cohost. K: Is it necessary to keep the video ON? JZ: Yes. Viewers, please make a serious note of this point because in many online meetings we have observed participants keep their video off, which is insulting to the speaker. The speaker should ask the audience to do a Facebook check-in. K: What is Facebook check-in. And why? JZ: Facebook Check-in. Sheroes of the world! Dr. Amrapali Zaveri suffered a massive stroke. Declared Brain Dead by Doctor at Maastricht University Hospital, The Netherlands. After passing away helped many lives by donating several organs! January 24, 2020.

• What an Honor! Tribute by the Maastricht University: The Flag was displayed at half-mast!
• Done Ph.D. (first woman in Zaveri family to get a Ph.D.), lived in four countries (Singapore, Germany, the US, and the Netherlands).
• Postdoc for 15 months at STANFORD UNIVERSITY, USA (2016-2017). She was about to join Amsterdam University as an Assistant Professor (Promotion).
• Won two awards (best paper and outstanding reviewer), have ~50 publications with 1000+ citations.

• Met the founder of the World Wide Web, Sir Tim Berners Lee, at an international conference in Lyon, France.
• From 2010-2015, she was a Ph.D. student at the University of Leipzig, with the AKSW research group in GERMANY focusing on Semantic Web, Linked Data, and particularly Data Quality.
• Since 2017 a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Data Science at Maastricht University, Netherlands https://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/memoriam-amrapali-zaveri 
• From 2009-2010, she worked in Singapore at the National Neuroscience Institute as a Research Assistant.
• Globetrotter: Traveled alone to Eighteen countries, doing paper presentations, training to other Ph.D. scholars, meetings, and international conferences.
